Sausages? This is a website about a Children’s Party Clown!

If you landed here, find out more about Abbaffoon the children’s party clown and children’s entertainer by going to the home page!

Some people are naturally curious, and you are clearly someone who just had to find out what happened when you clicked a link to sausages. Excellent – curious people keep the world spinning and the universe on course, and of course sausages have everything to do with shows by a childrens party clown!

So what do Sausages have to do with clown shows at children’s parties?

Well they have a lot in common – children love clowns and they also love sausages! Sausages with ketchup are probably most children’s favourite food, especially if they have vegetarian parents who aren’t looking! And as it happens, sausages make frequent appearances in my clown show.

If you’d like to know more about the clown shows I do at children’s parties, then the best thing to do is to use the links at the top to visit the home page or the parties page, where you find find lots of information about the hilarious shows for children and families.

A Brief History of the Sausage in Children’s Entertainment

Can anyone see the sausages?

There are many examples of sausages appearing in children’s stories – remember the one about the three wishes, where a woodcutter is granted three wishes and unwittingly wishes for a sausage for his dinner? His wife is so cross that she wishes the sausage was on his nose, and the only way to get rid of it is to waste the last wish, wishing it away. A good lesson in being careful what you wish for …

No Punch and Judy Show is complete without a string of sausages, and there is even one version where Mr Punch puts the baby through a sausage machine and makes her into sausages!

And of course there are some very naughty sausages in the children’s party clown shows, but I won’t spoil it by telling you what happens – visit the home page or the parties page for more information.
